Biography
Eka Darville can currently be seen on the third season of the critically acclaimed Marvel/Netflix series Jessica Jones. He plays Malcolm, a neighbor of the lead character whose own journey intertwines with her quest in a surprising way. Recently, Eka starred in the indie film Her Smell opposite Elisabeth Moss, who stars as a drug addicted rock star forced to face a career decline in addition to her crumbling personal life. He plays Ya-Ema, a shaman and spiritual guru of Moss' character. Previous television credits include recurring roles on the hit FOX series Empire and The CW's Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals. Film credits include The Weinstein Company's The Sapphires, the title role of Andrew Adamson's Mr. Pip opposite Hugh Laurie, and the Fox/Walden film Nim's Island with Jodie Foster, Gerard Butler, and Abigail Breslin.
